Philmont Training:
Every Saturday until the beginning of Philmont Troop 69 will be going on a preparation hike. It is a great opportunity for younger scouts to get requirements signed off if they wish to join. Make sure to check out the photos in the photo gallery!
High adventures:
If you are going on any of the upcoming high adventures make sure you are staying updated on what is going on. Please remember to regularly check your e-mail and/or Band for any updates. For those of you who don't know what a high adventure is, it is an opportunity for older scouts to go on a variety of more demanding scouting trips. This summer, Troop 69 will be going to Philmont which is a 12-day backpacking trip in New Mexico. Then in 2025, Troop 69 will be going to Summit, which is similar to a normal scout camp but has a lot more activities to offer and is located in West Virginia.
Parent survey:
If you haven't done so already, please take a couple of minutes to fill out the parent survey. Even if you've been in the troop for a while, we think this will be a great resource to tap into some of the amazing capabilities of our parent group!
